Getting back in the gym after months of eating whatever you want is not easy. But after getting on the scale and looking at myself in the mirror, I knew I had to make a change. Working out is hard enough so here are some things that makes my workout a little easier:

  1. Apple Watch – Because I have an iPhone, I use Apple Watch but honestly any Smartwatch that helps you to keep track of you calories burned is a good investment. My mom uses a FitBit and she loves it. If you have an Apple Watch, you can also share your workout with your friends and challenge each other.

  2. Beats by Dre – I’m not sure how people use AirPods or regular earbuds in the gym because mine always fall out. I’ve used my Beats for a while now and they’ve never failed me. I can tune out all of the background noise out in the gym and they stay on pretty well during a workout.

  3. S’well Water Bottle – So this is new to me but I love it! S’well makes reusable insulated stainless steel water bottles. It keeps my water pretty chilled during my workout and it’s convenient. Also, S’well is a good way to help reduce your Carbon Footprint.

  4. Nike Roshe One – Probably the most comfortable sneaker for me to workout in. I’m sure there are others but this was my first workout sneaker and I sort of just stuck with it

  5. Danskin Sports Bras – Gotta keep the girls strapped in while working out! I love Danskin brand because they are comfortable and they can be purchased at Wal-Mart for an affordable price. I also purchase Danskin leggings and workout tops!
